Hate Groups Unite with AFTAH and Call for ‘Day of Silence’ Walkout

Peter LaBarbera- President AFTAH

AFTAH and their Professional Homophobe President Peter LaBarbera are calling on parents to protest the National Day of Silence by pulling their children out of school for that day.  Why?  Pete says that by pulling kids out of school it’ll deprive the school from state funding for each child who missed, therefore sticking it to the schools for accepting diversity and equality.

So we at AFTAH echo the call for parents to pull their kids out of any school that abides the annual homosexual-activist event April 15 called the “Day of Silence.” Please read Laurie’s article below and call your children’s schools (middle and high schools) to see if they are sanctioning this pro-homosexual event. If you have any inkling that they are encouraging this disruptive event, tell the school that you will be keeping your child home that day. In doing so, you will send a powerful message to teachers and administrators that their embrace of pro-homosexual advocacy comes at a price. – Peter LaBarbera, http://www.aftah.org

Pete provides links to site DOSWALKOUT leading the charge on keeping your kids out of school.  The site provides plenty of pseudoscientific reasons (provided by their list of ‘endorsers’) why homosexuals are ‘bad’ and even a draft word document letter to send to your school.

The site claims parents should pull their students from school because:

a. Homosexual behavior is not an innate identity.

b. No matter what factors may influence homosexual feelings, freely chosen homosexual behavior is immoral and should be resisted.

c. Homosexuality is not equivalent to race.

d. Disapproval of homosexuality is not equivalent to racism; nor is it hatred; nor is it bullying; nor does it constitute an incitement to violence. It is permissible and ethical to express disapproval of homosexuality. Just because someone may feel bad when hearing that someone disapproves of homosexuality does not mean that disapproval is cruel or wrong.

e. No school should support a view of homosexuality that is unproven and controversial, and that is physically, emotionally, and spiritually destructive to individuals and society.

As you can imagine, with groups like AFTAH, the AFA and the Liberty Council, the propaganda and pseudo-science are in free-flow.  This entire exercise is another example of a failing extremist organization trying to do nothing more than defile the rights of American’s to express (or in this case, remain silent) themselves and another attack on the modern American family.  These groups want nothing more than to intimidate people who they define as ‘different’ or in their judgement aren’t fit for the rights bestowed upon all Americans.

These groups message is failing, American’s have shown in poll after poll that they’re supporting equal human rights for LGBT citizens in growing numbers.  The inevitability of equal human rights for all Americans grows nearer and these groups are scared.  They’ll stop at nothing, including using children as weapons to further their anti-American agenda of hate, exclusion and bigotry.
