MN Group Challenges Catholic Churchs Policy on Gay Marriage

A group of Catholics were denied communion Sunday because they wore rainbow sashes to draw attention to the catholic churchs policy on same-sex marriage.One protestor said he was denied communion but the priest blessed him on the forehead.A representative from the cathedral said church policy denies communion to anyone who tried to use the sacrament to make a statement.

So now Catholic priests decide who does and doesn’t get to take communion based on whether they agree with their ‘views’ on homosexuality?  Hmm.. I thought communion was a celebration for Christ dying for our sins, not our views on gays…
