It’s time for all my straight male friends to come out of the closet! On more than one occasion my so called straight friends and I had open discussion about “spanking the monkey” and which is the best hand, the best location and the best time of day. Little did I know each of them was apparently committing acts of down right gayness! Love you guys, but I guess it’s time all ya’ll ditch those Carhartts and cheap beers and slap on a D&G sarong and join me in watching a musical whilst sipping a shaken martini…. as God intended us to be!
According to Mark Driscoll of the Mars Hill Church in Seattle, male masturbation without the presence of a wife is a gay act. Apparently it’s OK if your wife watches, and that is a key detail that makes you straight. Otherwise, you’re just a nelly princess in training…
“Pastor” Mark Driscoll says that men need to stop masturbating because it’s a kind of homosexuality. In a booklet titled Porn-Again Christian: A Frank Discussion on Pornography & Masturbation for God’s Men, Driscoll of the Seattle-based Mars Hill Church says, “First, masturbation can be a form of homosexuality because it is a sexual act that does not involve a woman. If a man were to masturbate while engaged in other forms of sexual intimacy with his wife then he would not be doing so in a homosexual way. However, any man who does so without his wife in the room is bordering on homosexual activity, particularly if he’s watching himself in a mirror and being turned on by his own male body.”
Two questions come to mind for Pastor Driscoll….
1. My Psychology professor in college once said in a class of 300 students that 99% of men masturbate, and 1% lie… So Pastor Driscoll, using your standard, I guess that means you’re either a closet homosexual, or a liar… which is it?
2. If a single “straight” guy uses a pocket pussy to jerk off with- is it still a gay act or do plastic snatches make you straight too?

Perhaps all this time the Republican Tea Party and their right-wing Religious Christian Zealots are right. God is unhappy with America and what’s going on this country and he’s getting his revenge.
Perhaps he’s exacting revenge on the religious extremists and their supporters for discriminating against God’s LGBT Children and denying them full marriage and human rights equalities.
Since conservative ‘traditional’ family Christian groups started attacking LGBT rights in the midwest, the temperature in those states has been going up! Across the midsection of the country they spew their bigoted words of hate at God’s LGBT children, oust the fair-minded justices in Iowa, lewdly use God’s name for political gain in Texas, Exodus International’s Bigot Conference in Minnesota this July and the fag hating Westboro Baptist Church use God’s name to hate his children; the heat in the Midwest and central South has done nothing but go up!
God has turned up the heat! I surmise that God is PISSED at these conservative Tea Party/Christian Extremists and he is smoking them out to extinguish these bigots who claim to hide under God’s wing!
Perhaps if the likes of NOM, AFA, AFTAH, Rick Perry, and all the other LGBT hating bigots got together in Texas and prayed to God for forgiveness on how they’ve mistreated, discriminated against, lied about, and forced LGBT’s into second-class citizenship, the Lord would find it in his heart to provide rain and temperature relief to these areas of the country… Perhaps!
The Facts Don’t Lie!
National Weather Service: “The stage is being set for a massive heat wave to develop into next week as a large area of high pressure is anticipated to circulate hot and humid air over much of the central and eastern U.S. Maximum heat index values of at least 100°F are likely across much of this area by the middle of next week, with heat index values in excess of 110°F possible over portions of these areas.”
Extremist climate science deniers like Michele Bachmann and Tim Pawlenty are campaigning tirelessly to give their state the climate of Texas. That is what would happen if the nation and the world continues to follow in their preferred path of doing absolutely nothing to reduce emissions of planet-warming greenhouse gases.
I know it is just a coincidence, but Minnesota is going to get a taste over the next several days of a Tea Party future (as will much of the rest of the country). CNN reports today:
Extreme heat indices — how the air feels, with heat and humidity — are expected to reach up to 116 degrees in Minneapolis next week.
“These are extreme out-of-the-ordinary temperatures for Minnesota,” CNN meteorologist Sean Morris said.
Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington and other areas in Texas experienced afternoon heat indices of 105 degrees or more through Thursday.
The month of June was the hottest recorded for Texas since 1895, according to the National Weather Service.

I recently read an article on a blog (Two Gay Bullies) who have the same disdane for political correctness as I do. The story focused primarily on the impact the Jewish community attempted to have on the recent passage of the NY Gay Marriage law. In the article though, I found a wonderful section dedicated to our local UT villians, the Mormons. Around these parts, we call them LDS (Latter Day Saints) but that term has never really stuck outside of Zion. The rest of the country still knows them from the fuzzy glowing commercials they run during news casts… The Mormons. I chose this section because of it’s local based content and the writers misunderstanding of the Mormons wield their influence. The writer felt that the Mormon’s didn’t have much to do with the whole NY Gay marriage amendment because there aren’t allot of Mormons in NY. It’s an understandable misconception, but untrue none the less.
As far as religious entities go, the LDS are pretty slick. They don’t run around preaching from the pulpits, selling their versions of a Baptist fire and brimstone sermon, nor do they send Rabi’s into the streets to protest.
The Mormon’s have become far more sophisticated than that. What they prefer to do, is find a good Mormon boy with a beef that wants to start his own organization, and then they help fund it! They work their magic in groups like Evergreen International (Mormon faith-based ex-gay therapy), The Minnesota Family Council and the National Organization for Marriage. Why do you think NOM resists providing the government who their donors are? The Mormons (and the Catholics) don’t want that kind of politically incorrect exposure.
So on the 24th of July when NOM takes to the streets protesting Gay Marriage (by the way, July 24th is a Mormon holiday celebrating their entry into the promised land…Utah), and announces a 2 million dollar spend to oust legislators who voted for Gay marriage, don’t think for one minute that it’s not the Mormon’s meddling in NY affairs like they did in California and Hawaii. They’re just far more passive-aggressive about it (a skill well and alive in the Great State of Utah).
I really like how the homosexuals of California handled their Prop H8 defeat. Blacklisting their (mostly Mormon and Catholic) opponents guarantees that anyone who disagrees with us will think twice in the future about voting, speaking, or donating money. Blacklisting used to be a bad thing, back when the Hollywood studios used it against the Stalinist Left for about fifteen minutes during the McCarthyite 1950′s. I know it was bad because I’ve seen about sixteen movies and four PBS documentaries about it. But those were just utopian visionaries who wanted to bring the oppressive Soviet system to America, so let’s not compare them to the moral monsters who object to redefining marriage.
That’s why I was thrilled to discover a website pop up after Prop H8 called stopthemormons.[com]. Click on the site on my blog roll. As the bloggers explain in their FAQ, “Stop the Mormons” is not a bigoted, anti-Mormon site because Mormons really do deserve all the hate they get. Personally, I’ve never met a Mormon, but I kind of agree.

Evergreen International, a separate but closely tied ‘therapy’ center with the Mormon Church is located in Salt Lake City, UT. They’re well known for assisting LDS members with what the Mormon‘s term ‘same sex attraction‘ a way to correct their disorder. The effects of this intensive therapy (which often includes shock therapy) can be detrimental if not life threatening for many who undergo this draconian torture.
True Christians recognize the diversity in everyone. Christian Extremists who use biblical ideals to scare people into donating to their ’cause’ are just doing nothing more than pimping for their organization and bastardizing everything that Christianity stands for…

“Republican presidential contenders Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum have lined up behind a new pledge focused on social issues put forth by Bob Vander Plaats, a former candidate for governor who now reigns as a conservative kingmaker in the Hawkeye State. Vander Plaats heads the Iowa-based Family Leader, a conservative group. Signing “The Marriage Vow — A Declaration of Dependence Upon Marriage and Family” is a requirement for earning the organization’s endorsement. Standing behind the pledge entails supporting a “federal Marriage Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which protects the definition of marriage as between one man and one woman.” Among other things, it also means backing a ban on pornography.”
It’s virtually impossible to add any commentary here, when their bigoted actions speak for themselves.
God save America from the likes of Bachmann, Santorum and Vander Plaats.
Rick Joyner says a US Senator asked him if Hurricane Katrina was God’s judgment and he assured him that is certainly was.
Perhaps Joyner is right… God is taking is wrath out on America, but it’s not hurricanes,tornadoes or floods. Perhaps God’s wrath is the poisoned minds of people like Joyner, Bryan Fischer and Cindy Jacob’s projecting their brand of bigotry and hate on fair minded American’s. How else can you explain the spread of fear and hate than through false Prophets that we were warned about in Revelations?

I was extremely pleased today when I received an email from Marian and Julie (co-Pastors) of the Cathedral of Hope today. They’ve announced they will be opening a church here in SLC. The Christian-faith based church is open to all and in the spirit of the UCC accepts people for who they are and the journey they’re on with God. It’s great to have a truly Christian church that’s loving and accepting of all and following Christ’s example. Welcome to Utah… I’m sure it’s going to be an interesting ride!
The Cathedral of Hope, the largest Christian congregation that has a primary outreach to the LGBT community in the world, will soon be opening a church in Salt Lake City.
Soon-to-be graduates from the Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Mo., will be moving to Salt Lake City in May to help start the new the church. The Cathedral of Hope is affiliated with the Church of Christ and is one of the most progressive Christian congregations in the world.
The LGBT community is always welcome and no one will pressure gay people to change who they are, said Pastor Julie Watson, who along with her life and business partner, Marian Edmonds, will be heading out the church organization.
“We take the Bible very seriously, but we don’t take it literally,” Watson said.

“So many of the LGBTQ folks I talked to believe the lie that God doesn’t love them,” Watson said. “Some don’t believe they could ever be good enough for God no matter how hard they try. And we want to show them that’s simply not true.”
God loves his children for who they are; gay, straight, bi, or transgender, said Edmonds.

When an Apostolic Christian employee began screaming and harassing a lesbian employee at Walmart, Walmart took action when ended in termination for the harasser. As expected, the ‘Christian’ sued Walmart claiming her religious rights were violated. Last time I checked, bigoted remarks and discriminatory behavior weren’t part of Sunday School, but perhaps I was sick that day. Anyway:
An appellate court has ruled that Walmart did not discriminate against the religious freedoms of an employee by firing the woman for caustic anti-gay remarks directed at a homosexual coworker.
From the Seventh Circuit Court Ruling:
“Over the next three months, Wal-Mart investigated the incident by interviewing and obtaining statements from employees who were present during the conversation. In her statement, Amy reported that Matthews was ’screaming over her’ that God does not accept gays, they should not ’be on earth,’ and they will ’go to hell’ because they are not ’right in the head.’ Five other employees confirmed that Matthews had said that gays are sinners and are going to hell.”

The marquee above the theater reads The Book of Mormon. It’s hard to know what O’Neill, who wrote plays that often featured a great deal of despair, would think of the building that bears his name sporting a picture of a smiling, clean-cut, young man in a white shirt and tie jumping in the air next to a sign that reads, “God’s Favorite Musical,” but there it is. Mormonism is the talk of The Great White Way with the March 24 premiere of a musical named after the faith’s favorite book.…New Yorker Bruce Wolfe claimed to know nothing about Mormons while waiting to see a preview of The Book of Mormon on March 4. “I actually wish I knew more. All I know is Big Love, Mitt Romney and that BYU suspended that basketball player for having sex.”
