Maybe your church is telling you you are an abomination or intrinsically disordered; maybe you’re Catholic, Mormon, or Southern Babtist and they tell you that your life is not acceptable to God. “I’m going to tell you as a religious person, that they are flat out wrong”. God loves you beyond anything you can imagine. God loves you for who you are. You can have the life you hope for….and.. God wants you to have that life.

We’re all glad Clint McCance, the school district member in Arkansas who came under fire for an anti-gay post, resigned from office this week.He’s a guy who has no business on a school board after using the terms “queer” and “fag” repeatedly, promising to disown his own children if they are gay, and stating that he enjoys “the fact that [gay people] give each other AIDS and die.”He acknowledged that his comments were ‘ignorant” in an interview with Anderson Cooper last week but you do have to wonder why someone is so anti-gay. Are they suppressing something?Well, actor George Takei seems to think so and in a new video he has made for The Trevor Project, he talks about the controversy predicts that McCance will resurface in the headlines again one day “This time caught with a rent boy from some South American country.”
I had to watch the video 3 times… Is it possible to recover when George Takei calls you a douchebag? I don’t think so… Mr. Clint, while no one should be harassed for who they are, you sir…are a douchebag and deserve it. One of the great things about the digital age is that data never, never goes away… your children will one day see this video whether you like it or not… Maybe you should have used your ‘traditional Christian values’ and thought about what you were going to say on Facebook before you wrote it… I’m certain Jesus wouldn’t have even considered the insane act you committed. There’s a special place in Hell for you!
DALLAS — Former first lady Laura Bush is backing the fight against the bullying of gay teenagers.
She said in an interview at the Women’s Conference 2010 in California on Tuesday that all bullying – “certainly gay teens, but any children” is terrible.
The former first lady referred to a series of recent suicides by gay teens, according to an ABC News report that Bush spokesman David Scherzer confirmed on Wednesday. She said adults have to be the ones who do something about it.
She also praised the appeal to gay young people by Fort Worth City Council member Joel Burns. She expressed pride in the openly gay councilman’s account of being bullied when he was young and assuring gay youth that “it will get better.”
